_82 CODE OF MEDICAL DEONTOLOGY - Article 79.3 Regarding publications, it is contrary to Medical Ethics: • Prematurely or sensationally publicize procedures of unproven efficacy, or exaggerate it. • Falsify or invent data. • Plagiarize totally or partially what has been published by other authors. • Let yourself be included as an author without having contributed substantially to the design, development, or writing of the work. • To not mention funding sources of the work that motivates the publication or other sources that may imply current or future conflicts of interest. • Make repetitive publications. • Use disguised misleading advertising or promotion of a product. Article 79.4 When a doctor becomes aware of a false publication that promotes misleading advertising or that generates risky behavior in the population, they must notify the Local Medical Association.
