Article 71.3 The production or manipulation of embryos with the aim of dedicating them to research is contrary to Medical Ethics. Cell reprogramming and nuclear transfer or other related techniques are only acceptable if they comply with the ethical principles contained in this Code. Article 71.4 The conservation of pluripotent cells or umbilical cord blood requires providing, in advance, complete information on possible present and future practices with said biological material.
